What will you do?
It is often thought that a forwarder is solely concerned with arranging transport, but that is not the only thing. A good forwarder not only ensures that the cargo gets from A to B, but also that it happens in the best and most efficient way. A forwarder negotiates the price, has a lot of contact with the customer and drivers, and ensures the correct documentation related to transport. In Ridderkerk, there is an experienced and close-knit team of forwarders looking for reinforcement. Your daily tasks include:
Arranging transport for the cargo.
Close contact with the customer and drivers.
Negotiating the price and ensuring the correct documentation.
Administrative processing of files.

What do we expect from you?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive forwarder who recognizes themselves in the following points:
At least an MBO-4 or HBO education in logistics, customs, or similar.
At least 2 years of experience as a forwarder, preferably in the AGF sector.
Experience with Softpack is a plus.
Good command of the Dutch language and knowledge of the English and German languages.
You are proactive, precise, and can work well both independently and in a team.
Good communication skills and a solution-oriented attitude.
